When carving hardwood, we recommend covering the surface of the wood so that the residue can be reduced to the engraving area and it is easy to clean.
Use the "bottom up" modeling mode. In the laser engraving machine software, you can change the way the laser head works, allowing you to engrave from bottom to top, not from top to bottom. The advantage of this is that as the laser head moves, the smoke and debris can be pulled down into the engraving area.
After the engraving is completed, wash it with some debonding agent. Because hardwood glue turns black when burned at high temperatures.

With a lower resolution, you can get better results, about 300DPI.
